One of our absolute favorite Italian spots in Madison and worthy of celebrations or nice date night out. Staff and servers were very attentive to clearing tables and bringing the excellent food and drinks out at a perfect tempo. Fresh ingredients and expert presentation and preparation were evident throughout. The food is okay but the service isn’t great. Bartender didn’t realize the food ticket didn’t go through after 30 minutes. The bartender seemed more focused on socializing with their friends at the bar and making them free drinks, which affected their attentiveness. Lobster Pasta was decent and the polenta fries were just okay.

The food was really good! We got there 10 minutes late for our reservation and it was no problem. We had a nice table and our server Mac was fantastic. We got an app, multiple drinks, and multiple desserts. Nice view of the kitchen preparing dinner and the bottled Aqua Panna was great. It has been my favorite water for years. The only negatives were the music blasting like a nightclub ( I could not hear my spouse talk) and no one acknowledged our anniversary which I put on the reservation when I booked online. So that was disappointing.
