We went Sunday night, it was super busy. We got there right around six. We immediately sat and ordered quickly. The food was amazing. I tried a few varieties of tacos, including the Carne Asada. We had the birria fries to start those were good enough to bring us back again. What I will admit, though, was an issue with timing of food coming out of the kitchen. This is a very small restaurant, we had a party of four. The food coming to our table was very staggered. Absolutely do not listen to the negative review saying the food tasted microwaved. They have a palate of a child and are probably used to Taco Bell. The food is cooked fresh in front of you and everything tastes amazing. The prices are respectable and the service is excellent. Best tacos in Coral Springs!

Cartel de Tacos is a true hidden gem on Sample Road in Coral Springs. The food was fantastic, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is great and the whole experience was excellent. Joanna was my waitress and she was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her service really made the visit even better. If you’re in the area and looking for great tacos and outstanding service, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
