I visited Tropicana and was seemingly met with anymous almost immediately. Now I don't know if the young man with glasses at the front counter was having a bad day but, you don't project that bad energy towards paying customers. The atmosphere inside Tropicana is bleek and not well lit. There is no island vibes playing, no music. And, I have frequented several times. but, this last visit will definitely be the last time. I was not appreciative of the attitude and sense of entitlement. And, moreover zero courtesy just look up as jf to say bere js your order, no Thank-you for patroning our store

As a Jamaican I go to various Jamaican restaurantsin the area. Of course Jerk chicken is my first go to to try it out. I don’t know what kind of seasoning or sauce they use, but it is not Jerk. Mind you, whatever season they use does taste good but it’s not authentic jerk seasoning. The portion is decent for a small. I got up with rice and peas and cabbage. I didn’t get a lot of cabbage dough which one I was hoping for and it’s doused in a lot of sauce. I also ordered a sour sap drink for such a small container. I usually don't even do a lot of restaurant posts But this whole transaction disturbed me! I'm giving service 1 star I would give less if I could for service!!!!...I placed an order via delivery platform. I sent a note attached to my order. Stating my rice was hard like it was under cooked last time I ordered. And also could they ensure that I received the extra oxtails that I was paying for. I used Please and no aggressive words. Today was my first time here and whoever the short man is who wear a baseball cap type of hat seemed like he had an attitude. Didn’t make me feel welcomed. I got the large oxtail entree and the food is tasty but I have too many bones not enough meat. If I’m paying 20 plus dollars I would like enough meat on my oxtails. I give it a 7.5 out of 10
