Found this place by a random reel I saw on Facebook while doom scrolling. So so sooo happy I did! The food was delicious!! Got the fried chicken and roasted chicken with the 5 star mac, greens and corn bread. Definitely going back! Went around 11-12 and there was still a line as soon as you walk in, for a Monday mid day that says a lot!

You get plenty of great food at a fantastic price, and talk with some fantastic staff there. I had the the catfish stuffed with seafood dressing, Mac n cheese, candies yams, and some oakra mixed with chicken and sausage. Some fried ribs as well. Also got some slices of strawberry cake, and Carmel praline cake as well.

I’ve been eating here since they first opened and have never had a bad experience. It’s a quick drive from downtown New Orleans and WELL worth it. The staff treats everyone like family and always have a great attitude, even when business is crazy and people take forever and a day to order (despite having daily menus on social media and in line while you wait 🙃)! They typically have a line, but that speaks volumes to the quality of their food and staff. Don’t let the lines deter you, they move QUICK! Cannot recommend them enough!
