If you’re looking for authentic, not necessarily upscale, Israeli food… Tal’s is exactly that. I have been going the last 4 years and as an Israeli who has taken many Israeli friends and family to Tal’s every single one of us agrees that Tal’s is the closest restaurant meal you can get across the US to being in Israel. Sadly I just left New Orleans and won’t be back for a while but Tal’s is a spot I will stop back to every time I come back to New Orleans. ⭐️ Tal’s Hummus – A Taste of Israel in New Orleans! I got a great recommendation from friends to try Tal’s Hummus on Magazine Street and decided to stop for lunch — totally worth it! The restaurant is easy to find, clean, and cozy with a few tables inside and outside giving it a nice home-style Mediterranean vibe. You order at the counter, and the food comes out fresh, hot, and fast. We took homos and salad, the salad was fantastic and the homos was ok, it’s nice that there is free water and free pickled vegetables that was spicy and tasty..! Yes, the price is not cheap if you compare it to the original price in the Middle East but this is America so I guess there is a good reason for the price. Thanks 🙏🏻
