Sub City in Marshalltown is delicious, worth the trek off the interstate for a stop! I had the brisket sub and it was really good. The meat was tender and flavorful. Prices are reasonable and they have a giant space for sitting down to eat. The service was great. I walked in and someone behind the counter explained their menu and was very helpful. Will definitely go back!

I like that Subcity doesn't charge to use cash. I enjoy standing in line talking with the other patrons so I try to get there a little early. The food is great. If I were in a hurry I would call my order in. What's the fun in that!
