I recently visited Shoney's Restaurant on Hwy 321 in Maryville TN and it was a very good experience. Eliana greeted me at the door, welcomed me and quickly took me to her section. I told her I would be having the full food bar and coffee ☕ as my drink. I soon brought my awesome salad 🥗 and a bowl of hot 'cabbage soup' 🍲 to my table and my pot of hot coffee was already waiting for me. Eliana is a very quick server for sure. 🚀 I then went to the hot food section and returned with 3 meat choices and several hot vegetables. All were delicious and the entire bar area was clean and well maintaine

This place is mixed for me, I got the buffet when I went, nothing was particularly memorable except for the fried catfish, which surprisingly I really liked! It was genuinely tasty. However I found a strip of plastic film in my mac and cheese, and the rest of the food was just fine. Not bad! Just decent. Not a bad choice if you're in the area but there are much better options at a similar price in my opinion.

We had a delicious meal tonight. The store was very festive with a beautiful woodland Christmas tree up front. 🎄 My husband had the buffet. I ordered a hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. While waiting for my food I ate some hot vegetables and beef cabbage soup which was included with my meal. Our server was very attentive. She wore a Christmas Shoney's shirt which I thought was neat. The bar was beautifully maintained. I would highly recommend this location.
