The setting is nice with the river right there. On a nice sunny day it was perfect. The food was good but the waitress didn't get the order correct and we were unable to eat part of the meal due to an onion allergy. The sandwich was covered in them. Other members of the team brought us a to go box when we asked. We only saw the waitress when she took our order and when we paid the bill. We had to ask two other servers to send her our way. $$ 06/14/26 This was our first time here. Finally some decent weather and we were looking for dining outside and on the water. They have a nice large patio area overlooking the Fox River. It was nice seeing sun set over tge river while dining. We were impressed by the simple, but robust menu. We started with an appetizer of nuggets and cheese curds. Although they are what they are, these seemed lighter than normal and were easy eating and had good flavor. Well, now I’ve experienced it: the worst pizza in the world. People say Chicago tavern style is great so I was excited to try it. It was a cracker. (I bet the crusts arrive frozen or something. There’s no way that crust was freshly made.) The sauce was not pleasant and if Wonder Bread made sausage, it would taste like the sausage on this pizza. Bland and gross. Went there today for a nice lunch on the waterfront with a good friend. I know they were busy since it was such a nice day. So disappointed with the server, Alexis. Waited over an hour for our food. Server kept telling us that they too busy and backed up. Our server gave our order to the table next to us! When they clarified that it wasn’t theirs, they brought it inside then turned around and gave it to us! We also had to go orders that the waitress put in so it would be ready when we leave.
