My father had expressed a desire for salt herring for quite some time, and this establishment came highly recommended. While I typically exercise caution when visiting places primarily frequented by a single demographic, I decided we could simply order takeout. Not suited for a vegetarian or vegan. I grits with cheese and was served grits with a slice of processed cheese on top. Not good. I did not eat it. The fried apples are NOT fried. More like peeled apples stirred in a pot with sugar until cooked through. Home fried potatoes with oinions were ok. Biscuits...mmmm idk...they were a bit dry. Didn't really taste that great like a fresh made biscuit. However, my friend who ordered her food with hash browns, bacon sausage and wheat toast ...absolutely devoured her meal. So kudos to her serving!

We found this place on accident and it was the best accident ever. I now go here on my days off, I don't like breakfast but I always want breakfast here. The staff are always so nice, the food is amazing, the portions are great. I 120% recommend trying the food here. The fried apples, home fries, and sausage gravy are always a must!
