Overall: Decent when it can be. I grew up with McD playground, so this location is nice that they have one (although I don't want my toddler to get trampled over yet). BUT. As other reviews stated, this location is abnormally busy (due to being in the center of Merced where everything happens), so do not go here unless you don't mind getting missing items in your order, or getting the wrong order entirely. First of all, my grandkids love the play area. Fast food places don't have that anymore. But they replaced it with bad service. I ordered 3 - 6 piece nuggets happy meals, but gave us 4 pieces in a 4 piece box. That was a long wait trying to get that straight. They took away the soda machines, which means you have to ask for refills, which means also long wait at the counter until they get to you. Taking away the soda machines was the worst idea of all time. It's annoying at a place with bad service. I went through the drive thru today with a simple 3 item order. It's irritating that they have everyone pull around and park in the parking lot and wait for their orders to be brought out. The parking lot is ridiculously tight to maneuver and it wasn't even very busy. The fries were cold but the burger was good. I think I'll just go to Taco Bell next time I want to gran a quick lunch so I can save myself some time and irritation

it's very inconvenient how the restrooms stay locked. there's often a long line and having access to the bathroom while waiting to order would be great. other then that the employees are good at what they do especially night crew
