Had a great experience at First Watch this morning. I ordered the Rustic Breakfast and every single thing on that plate was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Big shoutout to Kama, the manager, and Q, the kitchen manager. You can tell when a team is well led, and this one absolutely is. Julius was my server and he was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure everything was on point from start to finish. Also, the bathroom was spotless, and that is always something I pay attention to. Clean restaurant, great food, exceptional service. I will definitely be back!​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This is my first time dining at First Watch. Initially the 35 mins wait was daunting for my son and I but, we quickly realized that without a reservation you’re doomed especially on a Sunday. People flock this place because the food is really good. Will definitely visit on other trips to Miami and most importantly I’ll recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience at First Watch in Miami Lakes. We waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged by the hostess. We specifically requested to sit outside, and there were only TWO tables seated on the entire patio — so it clearly wasn’t busy. After being seated, two different waiters came outside to serve their assigned tables. Not one of them bothered to greet us, offer water, or even hand us a menu. I requested a waiter TWICE during 15 minutes of sitting there, and everyone just kept walking by as if we didn’t exist. After 20 minutes of waiting just to order, we decided to leave.

The food was good... really good. The thing is we visited with a group of 5 and we all order at the same time. Unfortunately, my sister's food didn't come at the same time. Her waffle came out almost 10 minutes after the first 4 plates. Then her eggs and sausage came out another 5 minutes later. The service was spotty, not saying it was a bad server, it was slow because the server had multiple tables. The server was nice but busy and it was a good atmosphere.
