Definitely, one of the best French restaurants in Miami. We arrived around 7:00 pm and the dining room was surprisingly empty at first, but by 8:30 pm the place filled up and really came to life. Brasserie Laurel gets French cuisine right — classic, precise, and respectful of tradition. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and from the very beginning the staff made us feel truly welcome. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary welcome glass and warm congratulations, which immediately set the tone for the evening. Be aware that this restaurant has completely changed. It is no longer the fancy French restaurant that serves the delicious dishes shown in their photos. They are now serving only breakfast and lunch in a very American style (burgers, fries, sandwiches), with just a couple of French items (onion soup and croissants).
