Debisree Ray★★★★This is one of the local Tamilian restaurant chains that I’ve visited at other locations before, and this was my first time at this particular branch. Unlike some of their other outlets, this one doesn’t have seating — it’s more of an order-and-go setup. I stopped by just for a cup of filter coffee. Initially, the wait time showed around 30 minutes, but when I spoke to the person at the counter, she kindly helped expedite my order so I didn’t have to wait that long. My favorite drinks here are rose milk and coffee. Staff is helpful and there’s plenty of parking. Only downside: no real seating. They have a couple tables outside, but it’s inconvenient, and during rush hour you probably won’t get a spot. Also, I feel like they might be connected to Mylapore because the containers/branding look the same. If you want the same vibe but with seating, I’d recommend going there. Overall, great food,
Ashtravelvlogs★★★★★Idly Express is my go‑to when I’m craving comforting South Indian food. Their $5 specials after 3 PM every day are an excellent deal. I got the adai avail — two adais with aviyal, plus butter and sugar — all for just $5. The adai was definitely on the oily side, but for the price, it was good. Their tea is amazing.Overall, a great spot for simple, satisfying South Indian comfort food at a very reasonable price.

Chutney was super fresh and even with Togo type meals, sambar was hot and yummy. For lunch, I tried their bisibele bath and curd rice combo, and was surprised by how tasty the bisibele bath was! Authentic like how you get in a restaurant in Bangalore.. gulab jamun was the perfect finish to this meal, it was served hot and very tasty.
