A friend of mine had a frightening and unacceptable encounter at Jo Cats. As he was exiting the restrooms on the second floor, a staff member violently grabbed him and attempted to push him down the flight of stairs. He was only able to avoid serious injury by catching himself in time. Immediately after, another bouncer grabbed him by the neck and tried to strangle him. This was completely unprovoked, he was simply trying to rejoin our group of friends. The bar was crowded, but that in no way excuses the staff’s aggressive, dangerous, and unprofessional behavior.
