Major Goolsby's has been a downtown Milwaukee staple since the early 1970's. We have been the go-to sports bar for generations. Remaining family owned, game day ready, and proudly part of Milwaukee's sports and festival culture.

A grilled chicken breast topped with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and a spicy ranch. The chicken was perfectly moist. The bacon was crispy. The spicy ranch had just the right amount of kick. It was VERY good. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich, which the waitress anticipated the need extra napkins for. And it was needed but only for the best way ever. The pork wasn't dry in the slightest. So juicy. It was sauced really well and the sauce was great too! Messy sandwich, b

Our server was great we never had to ask for a refill, she was on it. Great food and location. It's right by the Milwaukee Panther Arena. That's were the Admirals play hockey at. Also right across the street from the Hyatt regency.
Maia H★★★★Awesome sports bar! So many TVs to watch any game you are interested in. It's pretty large, but it is still often very busy prior to games nearby (bucks, admirals, etc.). The service was nice and quick. I wasn't super impressed with the food but it's worth it just to be in a cool sports bar. The cheese curds tasted fine but I thought the portion was pretty small for the price.

Being near downtown where Major leagues play, this sports bar is the place. Major Goolsby's restaurant is the life of the party with good food and amazing service. Located downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, food isn't the only treat. The walls have autographed sports memorabilia, great pictures of sports celebrities, televisions that capture all the games, and comfortable seating. The food is so good and consistently good. I've been a few times and always get a good treat. T
