We had one night in Milwaukee and wanted the best it had to offer for dinner with suitable options for my vegetarian preference...Morel seemed to suit the bill, and we were generally happy with our experience. They were excited we were there, and our server (or maybe it was the host) confirmed we had stumbled into the "best restaurant in Milwaukee." Okay! The cocktail menu was adventurous, and the Rickety Skeleton I ordered (that's a cocktail name...no actual bones were brought to the table) was truly delicious and did the job of making me very happy. I'm a sucker for mezcal or anything smoky

Morel is a gem! We never have any complaints. You can sit at the bar and sample small plates or sit at a table and taste your way down the menu. You will not be disappointed! We enjoyed the truffle fettuccini special and the pork belly starter followed by the duck breast and the hangar steak, delicious! We were celebrating a birthday and they graciously gifted us glasses of Prosecco. We will absolutely be back soon!

Morel truly exceeded expectations! I don’t know how it has been on my list for so long. Everything from the personable service, uniquely special ambience at the chef’s counter, and thoughtful menu was wonderful. If you are into a more savory garden cocktail, the Shiso-Crazy is so delicious and well balanced. The lamb carpaccio was exquisite and is not something I would typically order. I am so glad that I tried it. The pork shoulder was extremely tender and the mustard jus complimented it well. The Hangar Steak had a delicious blue cheese butter that provided just the right amount of richness

I genuinely didn’t think it was possible to have a favorite charcuterie board after trying so many over the years, but Morel changed that completely. It certainly helped that our server approach the table and realize that we didn’t like blue cheese and literally turned around to switch it out before he put the magnificent spread on the table; without pork, mind you.
