We went to Onesto for Downtown Dining Week ($35 a person) and really liked the menu and was a great price. My wife and I split the appetizer and main meals so we can try multiple things in one sitting. We had the ceazar salad with fish -it was ok but not my preference to be honest The other option we tried was the pork belly (gluten free), which was absolutely perfect. It came out on a stone plate, and a nice presentation with a flavorful honeycrisp jam that really bolstered the flavor overall. I think it will be hard to top this resturants pork belly. Went here for dinner, and it was a pretty okay experience. The salmon was very well done, but I was not a fan of the way they made their carbonara. The emulsion was good and didn't break, but I wasn't a fan of the flavor. The pancetta tasted good, and there was quite a lot of it, but the sauce needed a lot more pepper. I'd probably come back to try something else since they clearly know how to prepare good food, but I wouldn't get the carbonara again.

Onesto has a really nice ambiance and the staff is super friendly. They have a good selection of pastas to choose from, but the food ended up being a bit hit or miss. The alla vodka was really good and we definitely enjoyed the calamari. On the other hand, the bruschetta was just meh, and the carbonara was honestly awful. It is a cool spot with great service, but you just have to be mindful of what you order since some dishes are definitely better than others.

My wife and I recently had dinner there for downtown dining week. The menu had great options and the food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend the Short Rib and Rigate alla Vodka. I think my wife was ready to divorce me for that Short Rib. LOL!
