It's been on our list for a while, and this was our first time coming here. Food: Excellent! One of the best Italian meals we have had. We started with a couple of the signature cocktails. My Papa Gio's Old Fashioned was outstanding. The additional Cynar amaro is a stroke of genius. For starters, we ordered the Fried Eggplant (Melanzane Fritte), which was probably the best we have ever had. It arrived piping hot, and the breading was fried to perfection. We really enjoyed the experience and food here. Quality dishes with great service and a very nice homey location. The price was very fair based off quantity and quality of food. We aren't large portion eaters so we had enough leftovers to make another small meal. We will come back for sure. Next time I think we would share a main and add a protein and split it so we can enjoy all the courses! The fried eggplant was amazing, we couldn't stop eating it. It's probably the reason we had leftover main courses. The chocolate Panna cota was amazing. One of best desserts we've had in a long time. Bala

This place is really special. The ambiance is quaint and perfect but the food is totally amazing. I actually was so excited when our salad and main dishes arrived that I forgot to get pics of those. I loved the details of the owner getting their olive oil from his families land in Sicily AND the use of pistachio. That was a nice addition since it is big in Sicily and I don’t see it as often in restaurants.

Nestled inside the old Phoenix Cocktail Lounge, this stunning Italian family owned restaurant offers quite the dining experience. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially during busy holiday weekends like this one. The drinks were exceptional and the calamari had a refreshing flavorful twist. We indulged in a variety of dishes, all of which were shareable. Despite the rowdy party the service was impeccable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and served us beautifully. Five stars truly don’t do justice to this place and as you can see I rarely use such high praise in my reviews!
