Our first time at Tauro Cocina. The atmosphere was great. We were the first customers so from 5-6 on a Friday it was pretty quiet. The staff were nice and greeted us coming in as well as thanked us while leaving. The waiter was a little less attentive than we would have liked but overall it was good service.

I went in without many expectations and ended up really impressed. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent, and the menu felt very creative. We started with the mussels and octopus—the mussels were great, though the octopus portion was smaller than expected, so I probably wouldn’t order that again for the price. Great food, service and atmosphere. Tauro Cocina has a terrific patio that's perfect for a sunny evening. Service was great. My wife loved her salad, and my Spicy Tomato Basil pasta was excellent. I also enjoyed the El Anticuado cocktail, a variant on an Old Fashioned. (My wife was less impressed with her mocktail, however.)
