We went yesterday and it didn’t disappoint! We found the place here on Gmaps. After watching some pictures we decided to try it. The beautiful lady that i forgot to ask her name asked us if it was our first time there and since it was, she kindly explained about every plate they had very friendly and patiently. I tried the shrimp pasta and my hubby the tilapia and shrimp plate. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! Fricking good!! So just do yourself a favor and try it! You won’t regret it! And THANK YOU 1986 kitchen! We loved it!! The service and the food!♥️

I had the fried pork chops, yams, collard greens, with crab rice and fruit punch/tea mix. The food was hot and tasty. The service was friendly and even though I went during lunch time, the wait was very reasonable. The staff was friendly and made menu recommendations. I Definitely recommend 1986 Kitchen and will be trying the desserts!

I had stopped by 1986 Kitchen and asked them if they sell “Chicken wings and Fries” and they said yes and I say good, I’ll be back. I’m glad I came back the next day and the day after and tried their food. I love the food. The taste is real good soul food. Their food taste as if it is personally and uniquely made with love for you. This is my go to restaurant for good soul food cooking. I highly recommend.
