Not one bit happy. Ordered two biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns to go. Received one biscuit cut in half and the gravy is so watered down it’s literally TRANSPARENT!!! Gross and tasteless. If you don’t have enough gravy left, maybe just tell the customer and don’t pass off this watery nastiness as actual gravy! It was disgusting and ended up being thrown away and money wasted. Never again.

Tradewinds is hands-down the best breakfast restaurant we’ve ever been to. We live in Austin now, and we still talk about it. The pancakes are everything I dream pancakes should be: fluffy, pillowy, and absolutely perfect. The omelets are hearty and generously filled, and the hash browns have that ideal balance of crispy on the outside and tender inside. Portions are generous, prices feel like a throwback, and yes I know this is a small thing, but I love a diner that gives you big cups of water 🙃. My first time here was the night before and it was SO good I had to come back! Even brought my dog so he could eat some eggs and sausage. The food here is top notch in flavor. Everything so fresh and hot and they make sure all of your items are in the bag. Absolutely delicious, new favorite place to eat!
