Arrived around 8:30 AM and managed to grab a street parking spot about a half-block down the street. The corridor is definitely a bit tight, but it's completely manageable. As soon as I walked through the door, the staff gave me a warm welcome, which set a great tone for the visit. I really appreciated the layout of the counter display—it makes it incredibly easy to see exactly what they have to offer before you order. Got there around 9:30 and thankfully a lot of the pastries were in full stock. Everything croissant was super yummy!! Had cream cheese filling with some chives in it and the pastry was topped with a lot of the everything seasoning both on the top and the bottom, also super flaky!! Pastry itself is a lot bigger than other pasties I’ve seen in bakeries and price was super reasonable too ($6.75). Would go back to try their sweet pastries next time since it seems like they’re well known for them as well

Finally made it to Neighbor Bakehouse to try a spread of their pastries. The Banana Bostock was easily my favorite. It has all the elements I love about a well-made pastry: a crunchy exterior and a soft, almost custard-like middle. The Pistachio Berry was a close second; I’d never had that specific combination of tart berry and nutty pistachio before, and it works perfectly. ​The Ube was solid, though the Chocolate Hazelnut was my least favorite of the bunch—good, just not as standout as the others.
