The time before last, maybe a year ago, the food was to die for...this time, the food was OK. The drinks were amazing, 10 stars! The bread pudding is probably the best thing on the menu, it is a roller-coaster of flavor and textures...crazy good, 10 stars easily. The manager and service would get 10 stars...they were amazing!

I ordered the scallops. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife ordered the lobster bisque. It was okay. Not very flavorful. Service was attractive except for serving the bisque without a spoon. Had to flag a waiter to get the spoon. Overall however, I would go back.

I was in Monterey for my wedding anniversary. I looked for a highly rated restaurant based on reviews and this was 1 of 3 restaurants that caught my eye. I had the Montrio house salad the herbed risotto and the seared scallops. The salad was very good the risotto was delicious probably my favorite of the dishes the scallops were very underwhelming. I did not like the creamed corn they were served on. I I expected something a little more elevated to go with the scallops. I felt the creamed corn did not compliment the scallops. Our waitress was very nice and attentive maybe a little too much. I
