You can’t get more classic mom and pop than this burger joint and I’m so happy that after 40 something years (maybe longer but I wasn’t around further than that) this place is still very happening! The service is fast and the people are friendly, and the burger is your classic griddle patties with common lettuce tomato onion but boy it is DELICIOUS! A pretty good burger with no frills. And by no frills I mean no bacon after 10 something in the AM, no French fries and what felt like no AC. Cash only so expect a $3 ATM fee if you brought a Visa. No fountain drinks, so no refills, no ice, and you get a snack sized bag of chips. I guess what I'm saying is the food is good but it feels like taking a good burger and stripping any other good parts of the lunch experience. I would recommend it if you're close by and looking for a burger. It's cheaper than it's direct competition.

I was surprised how well my deluxe cheeseburger tasted, compliments to the cook. I was however disappointed with the size of the chip bags. I chips seem to come from a variety box from someplace like Costco. The atmosphere seems harmless, but it can get crowed quickly. It can take a while after ordering because there is only one grill and one cook, but otherwise I enjoyed my burger. I believe if they upsize the chips, they could get 5 all around.
