I didn’t expect a lot at the Hotel lobby restaurant but I was wrong. I had the steak frites and was absolutely blown away by the flavor of that steak, it was amazing! The server was super attentive and took great care of us and the atmosphere was great too! We also had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good and the service was still great!

Nice Bar and Grill within the Marriott on the waterfront. Always good drinks and tasty bites. They focus on Bourbon and have good prime beef. Affordable and a spectacular view of the river. I’d stay away from the flaming havarti but the burger (double with double cheeseburgers and bacon), the fries, the prime dip, the salads and the steaks were all phenomenal.

Dinner in Morgantown at Bourbon Prime. I’m in town for a conference for the day job and just had a fabulous experience at the restaurant inside the Marriott. Thanks so much to Mathias for taking such good care of us. Starting with the Almost Heaven Old Fashioned, made with a custom cask of Woodford Reserve bourbon. Dinner was the bougiest pepperoni rolls ever, along with roasted baby carrots and broccolini, all paired with a delightful Seghesio Zinfandel. Dessert for me was an espresso crème brûlée. Eddie had the blackberry bread pudding. Everything about this place was on point.
