Solid choice for Mexican! One of the original “authentic” Mexican restaurants in Morgantown. Food is tasty with large portions and decent prices. Kids menu offers Mexican dishes as well as non Mexican. Service is prompt and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Decent, but not great. The food was a bit salty, but the flavor was good. I got a bunch of different salsas to try and they gave us a bunch of chips. More chips than anyone could reasonably need. Unfortunately, we also ordered chips and queso, and instead of putting it on the side, they dumped it on top...in a to-go container. This obviously led to them being soggy and stale. My girlfriend said that they forgot the banana peppers on her burrito. My rice was dry, a bit hard, and seemed old. The beef tips were good and my enchiladas, chimichangas, and the other meats within were good as well.

Past 3 times went here. Was my favorite Mexican restaurant. I was given food I did not order. Then the waiter wanted to call my wife a liar. Not cool. We always order the same thing. Service has gone down. Been customer here for several years. Not sure i will go back. Just want good food I ordered and staff that has no attitude. Very bad experience last 3 times. Don't go here

Every experience at Rio Verde has been great. Consistent quality of good, great portions at a very affordable price. Although I have not tried them myself, I heard the margaritas are excellent as well.
