I went to Pequod’s in Chicago a long time ago. I can’t remember if I enjoyed it. We decided to come here. Parking is street only. Make sure you read the signs since they can be confusing. Also, they accept any payment except for checks. Do people even bring their checkbooks into restaurants these days? lol. You can dine inside or outside. I believe they have a heated patio outside. My friends and I had a great time at Burt's Place. The heated patio was cozy, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the food was delicious. The pizza was full of flavor, and the appetizers were the perfect start to dinner. Great spot to grab drinks, enjoy good food, and catch up with friends.

We really enjoyed Burts. Tucked in a residential neighborhood with a low key approachable vibe. Eclectic atmosphere and attentive staff makes Burt's an excellent choice for any occasion. Build your own deep dish pizza available in multiple sizes. The crust had a rigid crispy bottom supporting a pillowy dough. The rim features blackened crispy cheese. An element people will fight for.

Really good old fashioned deep dish pizza. Sauce was not sweet, just right. Crust was thick but not over breaded. There were plenty of requested toppings (just sausage this time) that made it good bite after bite. I highly recommend.
