I spent a whole day at the AI+ Expo in DC and was leaving the second day of the convention, heading back to the Red Line to make it back to Montgomery County. On the way, I passed a sign that said Rocket Bar. I'm an aerospace engineering student, so I love rockets, obviously. But it was a long day. The place has a good atmosphere. However, it is quite small, and although there are 2 large rooms, one closes earlier than the other which makes no sense since the place is open till 3am. The place can use a face lift as well. Overall, I give it a 3.8 out of 5. The music shuffle, however, was definitely good.

When you just have to get in that game of pool… 🎱 Cool theme, popular but the bartender puts you on the list for the table. You rent the balls (no need for quarters). Lots of other games to play: shuffleboard, darts, some retro arcade games (nba jam, big buck hunter) a newer pinball machine, skeetball, bubble hockey, basketball…

It is def a cool little spot! The pool table was reasonably priced but it can take a while to get a table. There isn’t a time limit people can play when busy, so it’s up to tje mercy of when each group decides to stop playing. They offer a wide variety of drinks and their are many other activities outside pool as well that you can engage in. They crowd is a mixed group and the music is usually a rock vibe
