Zareen’s in Mountain View lands at about 3 out of 5 for me. The food was good but nothing particularly memorable. The samosa was decent and ended up being my favorite item. This location is takeout only with no bathrooms or tables, which makes the experience a bit inconvenient if you plan to eat nearby. Overall it felt a little overhyped for what you get, though the flavors were fine.

Zareen’s. Is. Amazing. This place has the best Mango Soft Serve, best Mango Lassi, and best Sheermaal I’ve had in the US. The food, vibe, and personality of the restaurant are unmatched in the entire bay, nay, even the entirety of America. My family and I are foodies, and I attest that this place is a must visit in the Bay. This is personally my favorite location but any is amazing. If you’re reading this and debating on going/bringing your family/visiting for the first time, just come. I am telling you that you won’t be disappointed.

We like Pakistani food. This place serves great dishes. Approximately 6 months ago I got sick consuming this places food. Very upset and runny stomach for days. That night was really bad but slowly I got better. Yesterday I thought I give them another chance. This time avoiding fresh vegetables. First bite of my food and there was a big piece of egg shell in it. Ok perhaps it’s there accidentally. Second bite and bigger piece of egg shell. Losing my appetite the waiter offered to replace it. This was a small take out spot . We found some seating outside . I heard a lot of good reviews about this place from word of mouth. So I was were excited to try ! Ordered palak paneer , samosas , biryani and chicken tikka masala . I think everything was mediocre but the samosas were bomb ! I would not order the palak paneer again . The chicken tikka masala was decent and biryani okay . Service was good and food didn’t take that long to come out though . I don’t recommend the thali .
