While this establishment has a very cool vibe and good music. .. unfortunately the food is a 1 star quality. 🌟 I may have come on an off day but I'm not thinking so. Unfortunately my son was home on leave and I was hoping this would be a great spot. I gave the waitstaff a 3 . I've eaten all over this country and when the staff is eh ... it just makes it less appealing. I will say it's probably a cool play to have a drink and shoot some pool. Just be ready for East coast drink prices.

What a gem! I travel to Muskogee for work on occasion and I wish I had found this place sooner! The prices were very reasonable compared to the rest of the country and my server was spot-on. I had the juicy hamburger steak plate. I had the luck of stopping in on a slower day and got to take some pictures of their unique decor. They have tables for 2 or 10 and a full bar. I even spotted 2 tables with board games available. Maxine’s made a new fan today!

Walked in a little before 10 to a sign stating "seat yourself. A staff member will be with you shortly", so I sat at a table. For 30 mins I sat. Not one single person acknowledged, greeted, or even spoke to me. Besides one small framed guy with some kind of back bag with thin strings or straps. He gave a common, "how's it going" head nod. It's not like they were even busy or anything. 7 or 8 people at the bar, 3 at one table, and 4 at a booth. The 2 girls at the bar seemed more interested in chatting it up with the few people at the bar hidden behind the table and booth in the pic. So I got up

Maxine’s (Max’s Garage) in Muskogee is an okay spot to hang out with friends, but the food felt overpriced for the quality. My $12.99 two-piece chicken strip meal was average, and the $9.99 cheese curds mostly tasted like old grease and salt. Drinks were fine, but for around $30 total I expected a little better. Good for socializing, but I’d probably choose somewhere else if I was going just for the food. Note: I ordered the two peice chicken strips, and they gave me 4, but they were super thin.
