This review is being written without tasting the food because I decided against eating it. When I walked in, the cashier and staff were splitting their tips. I stood there there a couple of minutes before being greeted with a “yeah?” I’m not familiar with the location so I apologized and asked if they closing. He said no they were open until 3. It was about 10 minutes after 2 so I’m not sure if finishing counting the tips in front of a waiting customer was the most professional thing to do. I ordered 2 drinks and a pastry. Delice et Chocolate is such a gem, and I am so grateful to have this amazing authentic French spot in Ardmore! Whenever I have a hankering for a delicious coffee and French pastry, this place delivers. Incredibly good pastries and cakes... the Piedmont cake (chocolate hazelnut), spinach-feta croissant, and almond croissant are my favorites. Yum yum yummy!

I had an almond croissant and it was absolutely delicious. On par with the bakeries in Paris. I was about to give this place a 5 star rating however unfortunately there was a hair in the croissant which is quite unappetizing. I'm assuming it's a super rare occurrence but wanted to call out.
