When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, a super friendly guy who actually recognized me from school! That made the experience even better. Since my father was born in Puerto Rico, we chose "Rice and Beans 603" to cater the family luncheon. Owner and chef, Tony, did not disappoint! From pernil (roast pork) and arroz con gandules, to canoas (plantains stuffed with ground beef), the food was excellent. Tony even made a batch of canoas using plant based beef, to satisfy our vegetarian guests. Strawberry 3 leches cake and coconut flan finished the meal. My father would have loved this restaurant, thank you Tony.
