Stopped by this place on my way into BCC this morning on a whim. Got an iced coffee and a chocolate chip muffin. Coffee was strong, even with a bit of cream (perfect) and the muffin was warm (delicious). The people at the counter were kind and prompt. Good chance this is becoming a weekly routine lol 😂

Haven't been here in years. Used to be nice. They have a wonderful menu. But the food was gross. They are high priced for barely decent food. Drinks seem watered down and not tasty. The place seems like it needs maintenance. Some of the seats are broken. Thw avocado toast had watery tasteless "avocado" thinly spread. The menu says they use frozen yogurt for smoothies but it's just ice cream. They say thwy have non dairy versions of smoothies but they don't they juat mwan they don't put the dairy in it which is ridiculous. Went in there the other day and was very disappointed by service and beverages. Ordered a latte and iced mocha and neither one was correctly made, latte was more of a cafe au lait. The milk was sour for the mocha and watered down. Informed the counter person and didn't believe me.

Cafe is cute and has potential. Vegetables not washed ( had flys and maggots in lettuce) Pastries are not baked fresh, they are all store bought( cakes, muffins, scones croissants ) Nothing is dated or rotated. Pastry will sit until sold no matter how many days it’s been.
