What s fun place to grab s sandwich or have an ice cream. Very family friendly cafe reminiscent of soda shops/ Ice cream parlors of days gone by. Tabled seating inside and a few sidewalk tables for outside seating The menu is extensive and varied with sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas , and more. The Chicken salad sandwich on Texas toast is one of our favorites as is the Greek chicken wrap. Lived around here all my life and just made it here. I got strawberry, and it was pretty good. It was light and fluffy. I've had better. 3 of my kids enjoyed theirs, but 1 didn't. She had a different flavor and said it had lice ice crystals and seemed freezer burnt. Overall, it was a nice little treat after walking the grounds at Tryon Palace.

July 2024: Great art on the walls, and they have a kid friendly area. Lots of options regarding ice cream, personally I thought they were extremely sweet compared to other ice cream joints I have tasted. The food gets the job done nothing spectacular for veggie eaters. The meals with meat were “really good and tasty.”
