This was our first time eating here and it definitely was an awesome spot for some awesome German food. We we sat outside in the big communal seating. They had a live band playing. Our server was amazing and made us feel welcomed. I ordered the rubin sandwiches with fries and my husband got the bratentaschen. We also got the loaded Kartoffel poppers. The place was super busy but our food came out quickly! Our server made sure we got our food correctly as well as made sure we were enjoying it. Well worth it and definitely need to make another visit back.

Loaded Kartoffel Poppers : Lots of great textures, Creamy from the sauce toping it as well as a crunch from seering the outside and a fresher vegetable taste on the inside. Perfect if you like traditional french style Hashbrowns, but with an added twist! (I dont personally, but Still wanted to try them! Still consider them a 5.5/10!) I am so happy we randomly came in one weekend. The outside Biergarten setting with live music was great. Plenty of elbow room and a breeze. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. We ate in the indoor part of the restaurant and it was great. The food was great! Everyone got to try a little bit of everything. The bathrooms are also on the approved list. We will definitely be back. Also, the hostess stand will validate your parking.

Great place for food and beverages for just about any size group. If you like beer, there is no shortage of choices here. I started woth a sausage sampler which could have easily been my meal. They also have a wild game sausage sampler which I will try on my next visit. I had the chicken-fried steak for my meal and was beyond pleased. Very tender meat. Not overly breaded and not oozing grease. I'd say it beats 90% of the ones that claim to be the best in Texas. The jalapeno gravy was a perfect match for it. Git ya one!
