If you’re in the New Haven area, you have to check out Deja Brew. I stopped by for breakfast and tried their “Hearty Start” sandwich — egg, mozzarella, prosciutto, tomato, and spinach on one of their fresh croissants. The croissant was perfectly flaky and everything together tasted amazing. They also have a great variety of hot and cold drinks, but I had to try the peanut butter latte and it was next level. Seriously one of the best specialty lattes I’ve had. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. ☕🥐⭐

Haven’t been here in a long time, but decided to stop in & grab some lunch today with my nephew. Didn’t care for the girl at the counter who took my order. Snippy attitude, kept interrupting me & had an abrasive quality to her. My nephew liked his panini, but found a tiny random piece of turkey in a sandwich that only comes with salami. Didn’t ruin the sandwich, but just goes to show how haphazard & sloppy their preparation & presentation is. I ordered a very mediocre salad. We love Deja Brew! Best cafe on this side of town! The kitchen is so good - such a diverse menu and everything we had was delicious. Service is quick. And the coffee and pastries were amazing.
