One of the best meals we had in New Orleans and worth the trip over from the French Quarter where we were staying. The oysters were absolutely divine. My daughter and I wished we had space left after our meal- we wanted to order seconds. The grits were delicious topped with the catfish! Cocktails were masterfully crafted and a refreshing departure from the typical sugary drinks of Bourbon St. The owner came over and chatted for a bit to ensure we were taken care of. Which we were. The service was attentive and lovely! So glad we made this our ‘last supper’ in NOLA.

My husband and I visited New Orleans for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. We stopped by a few of our usual spots and tried some new ones, and Chapter IV was the last restaurant on our list. We definitely saved the best for last. The service was excellent!!! Friendly staff, smiling faces, and very attentive throughout the whole meal. My first time brunching in New Orleans and I’m glad it was at the beautiful location Chapter IV. This spot is walking distance from the Saints football stadium and Pelicans basketball stadium which is perfect for people who want to indulge in good food and sports. When we walked in we were greeted by manager Erin who was so nice and felt like a friend from home. The interior was lively, with a bar and tv for those who want to watch the games. I had oysters 10 million ways since I was a kid but never on a bed of spinach with a pickled jalapeno on top. I'm going to go back and just get three orders of that for dinner. The catfish with the corn machoux with crawfish and andouille on top of it was a very unique and creative combination served on top of perfectly cooked and seasoned grits. We also had the appetizer with the three Asian ribs and three Asian wings which was perfect because I like getting a variety.
