The atmosphere and surrounding area is really cozy. Ive been to several coffee shops that have a real indie vibe and this is one of them. The service is not that warm and this will be a big issue for some people so keep that in mind. No one is gonna greet your or ask for your order at this place. Its a spot where people know what they want and don't want to be bothered. Everyone had their heads burried in a laptop and had massive headphones on. I dont mind that vibe in a coffee shop. They stop serving brewed coffee an hour before close,but everything we ordered was pretty good. we'll stop in again for sure

Absolutely best coffee shop I have ever visited! And I have been to coffee shops all over the country. Coffee is absolutely amazing. One day I had the vanilla lavender, and it was better than the Starbucks vanilla lavender by a mile! Today I’m having the vanilla hazelnut so we will see if it is just as good. This coffee is far better than Starbucks and it’s cheaper. And the ambience is like a cute Christmas town, coffee shop! The kind that you would see on a hallmark movie. I would move here just to come to this coffee shop every day!! I will miss you!!!

The food and people are fine, but I'll explain why I gave this a 1-star. This place is DIRTY and not safe at all. I started going here a few months ago, mainly to get coffees to go. The past two (and last) times, however, prompted me to make them part of an experiment. Although, I was only slightly concerned about all the coffee and liquid left behind on the tables as people left, I decided to sit down with my laptop for a short period. When I got up, there was a loud plastic ripping sound (no actual ripping though) as I lifted my laptop from the table. The table was SO dirty with coffee and food crumbs, that it was sticking to the table. The next time, I came prepared to conduct my experiment. I brought sterile swabs from class (with permission) and sat at three different tables (people thought I was crazy). I took swabs from each. Back in class, without identifying the place, we analyzed what I found. Let's just say that what we discovered made us believe we would be safer eating

This is a cozy and spacious coffee spot with art (hence the name, The Bean Gallery) in Mid City. They feature delicious, fresh coffees and a variety of cold refreshments. Light fare and dessert are also available. They recently added traditional Turkish coffee to the menu, and it tasted smooth and deep like it should. Their cookies look amazing, and the dark chocolate/white chocolate/toffee cookie did not disappoint. Hang out and study or read, sit on the porch or inside, or have a conversation with a friend as there is plenty of space between tables. Parking is also easy; always a plus in NOLA! Updates July 2022: I love that bagel and breakfast sandwiches are still served in the afternoon. The iced coffee was also really good!
