The location is tucked away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Prices are reasonably affordable for a romantic night or special meal for a couple or friend group.

I don't usually write negative reviews about small businesses, but I have to make an exception for Cafe Sol Azteca. This was not my first time dining there, in fact I have been coming here for the past 20 years but this past experience was marked as one of the worst dining experience of my life. At the door, we were coldly welcomed and the staff looked stressed and overwhelmed. From out of town, looking for a quick bite to eat. Came across Cafe Sol Azteca’s unique entrance and to our surprise and incredible atmosphere, delicious food and warm service! You know it’s a good spot when the salsa is amazing!! We will return again! I had the haddock with tomatillo and cilantro sauce. My husband had the steak tacos!!! Yum!

Eating here on Cinco de Mayo was the worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life full stop. We had a 6 o’clock reservation, and after a few minutes of delay at the desk were seated. The outdoor area of the restaurant was almost completely filled, but not overwhelming. Not a single member of the staff said a word about us about any delays that the restaurant was having.
