First of time to Himalayan Hakka and we were very impressed with the food and prices were reasonable as well. Certainly a hidden gem in Welland. The wait staff are the family members who opened 1 1/2 years ago. The dining room is spacious albeit simply but cozy. Staff were attentive and helped guide us, well me in particular, with my food selections as menu is extensive. Restaurant is licensed but the wine selection was limited. More on that later. Chili Momo was my favourite but the Spring Rolls were tasty too. And throughly enjoyed my Shrimp Hakka Noodles. Other items selected were the combo

We chose the place based on reviews and were pleasantly surprised. The chaat papdi was delicious, tandoori and chilli momos were delightful, and the veg Szechwan noodles were fantastic. Despite indulging in all these dishes, we didn't feel overly full. The service was excellent, and the owner's behavior was welcoming, helping us with our choices. The prices were reasonable too.

The food is always so good when my boyfriend and I go, I’ve had their thali multiple times and my boyfriend loves their chicken momo and chilly chicken momo. Their mango lassi taste just like how it does in India. And the owner is also so sweet and welcoming.
