There’s nothing better than a good traditional poutine on a cold winter’s day. Small, cozy businesses can be great popular places, and they deserve the gold medal for the best poutine. This was my first experience eating poutine and it was great. We got one with curds and onions, one with curds and mushrooms. The poutine was 5 star, the hot dogs were also good. We ate at the picnic table outside, and were entertained by the seagull that had his eye on our fries. The place had a food truck vibe to it. It was kind of nice after spending the day doing the touristy stuff at the falls. I lost my watch there and didn't notice till that night. I messaged Niko's and someone had turned it in. Listen up. This place is no frills, and all quality. I had a Peameal bacon sandwich the day before at the St Lawrence market in Toronto, and this blew it away. The owner and his wife are good people. They love Pink Floyd (who doesn't?), and since I'm from Boston we couldn't talk Hockey but we found common ground. If you love diners,and hole in the wall places that are all about the food, this is your place. Love it!!!

A small mom and pop shop with ample parking in front of it!! But believe me this!! One of the best fish and chips I ever had and this is coming from a person who don't eat fish!! Of note this is my first poutine with cheese curds as well and damn it was good!! If you ever in Niagara in either Canadian or American side pop right in!!! It's worth it.
