Great spot for a big crowd, especially with the patio! Went here for a friend’s baby shower and the service (open bar) and food (brunch) were great. I found the cocktails to be the perfect pour! Ample parking in the area but valet parking was available as well.

Set aside some time to look for parking - in this area of Edison Park, it's difficult to find a spot, especially during dinner time. Because we know the area, we parked in the neighborhood behind the playground (and it's FREE), and walked across it to get to the restaurant. I'm glad I was able to make a reservation at Tavern on the Point - upon our arrival, we saw cute glammed-up girls with their dads having dinner prior to their Father/Daughter Dance. Have been here for both breakfast and dinner first time customer visiting in the area hoping to move locally. John owner is very kind and welcoming. Bob is extremely kind and constantly caring for his patrons. Tom and Jason were excellent bartenders. Very balanced drinks and nice establishment. Read some reviews saying the Caesar salad is too “fishy?” For whoever posted that please understand that a Caesar salad is traditionally anchovy forward in flavor profile.
