Utter waste of money. Terrible drinks. The truffle hot chocolate was overly sweet. The lemonade and macchiato was OK. Nothing to rave about. Pancakes were underdone. The eggs were not fresh either. Potatoes were soggy. Chocolate croissant was the only saving grace.

This place delivers on what it is. It’s consistent. It always has coffee, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, fruit, pancakes, etc. It prepares the food fairly fast and yet it maintains pretty good quality. This is what you get when you’re in a hurry to get to the museums or monuments, etc. This is not an amazing brunch place. There are plenty of those around town. You will find affordable, quick, decent breakfast or lunch here so you can get back to exploring DC.

Absolutely loved the ham and cheese croissant and the cinnamon roll. A buddy and I decided to grab breakfast at the bakery before leaving town. We ordered, sat down and waiting. Several people around us came and left and we still hadn't gotten our food. We walked over to check on it and it was sitting on the counter, waiting to be brought to us. So seems service was a little slow and they were horribly busy, possibly shorthanded. Anyway, the food was good and loved the sweet tea.

People are nice, food is gross. Breakfast sandwich with cold bread, cold eggs, cold bacon, slice of unmelted cheese. So unappetizing. Didn’t even try to make it appealing. After heating it in the microwave, it’s now just soggy. Sigh. But people are nice…
