⭐⭐⭐⭐ Freemason Abbey Restaurant is a unique dining experience with an incredible atmosphere and rich history. The building itself is beautiful, and the charm of the interior really adds to the overall experience. I especially appreciated that the menu shares the history of the building—it’s definitely worth taking a few minutes to read. Service was good overall, although it was a bit slow at times. From the bar, I ordered the Oddfellow Fashioned, and it was excellent—well-balanced and very enjoyable. If you’re looking for a restaurant with character, history, and a great ambiance, Freemason

Went here for their March madness , all night happy hour specials this month. It was mainly due to distance and because I’d always been curious about happy hour here! I went around 6 and thought it’d be packed but it was a moderate amount of people and I sat myself at the bar. A server quickly gave me a regular menu. When the bartender arrived , he greeted me warmly and I asked for a happy hour menu. I choose to start with the orange sour whiskey and the calamari. I wasn’t disappointed and finished both quickly! What a wonderful and unique space for dinner! My teenage son and I visited during our last evening of his spring break. The service from Payton was excellent. The fried green tomatoes, the filet and the broiled seafood platter were cooked perfectly. Truly a great staff as they joked with my son that he had "assigned seating" in another part of the restaurant. This capped off a wonderful evening. Even took a moment to take a quick stroll around the historic building. Be sure to make this part of your itinerary because its an easy walk from the Nauticus complex.
