The famous pot roast sliders from the late BlackBird have been reborn at The Library. They were just as good as I remember. I came for lunch on Monday in the summer so it was not busy as I expected. Service was good no complaints. Of note, they do not accept take-out orders during happy hour (3p-6p).

Vibes, 10/10. Service, great. Food, mid. My pot roast sliders were bland. Skip the au jus and put some sauce on those bad boys. My girlfriend's short rib grilled cheese was more flavorful, but the arugula on it was limp and just didn't hit. We didn't drink, but the drink prices looked reasonable. Cool bar area. We hope to come back sometime to try the drinks... Maybe they'll make the food taste better. But yeah, vibes are great, staff was great, cool little spot.

The Library in Norman is a classic local spot with a fun, laid-back atmosphere. It has a lot of character and feels like one of those longtime Norman favorites that people keep coming back to. It is a good place to meet up with friends, grab a bite, and enjoy a relaxed setting. One thing to know is that it can be really dark inside at times. That does add to the cozy, bar-like atmosphere, but depending on when you go, it can also feel a little too dim.
