Update: May 2026: The “too good to go” surprise bags from this location have been very disappointing the past two times I’ve been here. On May 15 and on May 18, I have received bowls with only vegetables and rice. no protein whatsoever not in the form of chicken not in the form of beef or anything of the sorts. This is very disappointing and these vegetable bowls do not reach the promised value of what I was supposed to receive. Made a mobile order to pick up in the store for to-go. It located in the same building from CAVA, honeygrow, Xian Famous Foods, Five Guys and others. There were plenty of complementary parking lots surrounding the building. Arrived at the time of promise, and thebags were ready for pickup. The decorations were modern. There were indoor and outdoor seatings. The bowls contained various ingredients as expected.

I generally like these types of places for the level of customization they offer. However, while with most cuisines you don’t lose too much in terms of taste compared to traditional restaurants, in this case I felt that regular Indian food is significantly better, especially the sauces. Service was very good. The lady gave good recommendations and let me try out some of the sauces beforehand.

I was in Bethesda for 3 days and found this gem of a restaurant completely by luck. The place has the perfect mix of modern and homely vibes. Their bowls were so good that we ended up eating there 3 times! We even got takeout for our drive back home. The saag paneer bowl, tikka masala bowl, and paneer tikka bowl were my absolute favorites.
