I’ve been coming here a couple times a week for a while now and it’s easily become one of my favorite spots. It’s a family owned cafe with a really chill ambiance, the music isn’t too loud, and the staff is really nice. Also the prices are pretty fair for Chicago. The coffee is what keeps me coming back. Their lattes (both iced and hot) are consistently great, and the food is solid too. I also end up bringing my laptop here pretty often since the wifi is surprisingly fast, over 300 Mbps. It’s a great spot to get some work done and enjoy good coffee.

Queen B is one of my favorite place in Chicago. I first discovered it through the chef of one of my favorite neighborhood restaurant, and since then it has become my special treat. Their plain croissants are simply incredible — buttery, flaky, always fresh, and worth every mile (I’d happily run there in my weighted vest just for one 🥐). The sandwiches and salads are wonderful, but what makes this place truly special is the atmosphere. It reminds me of Europe — warm, relaxed, and welcoming.
