Nikki does a great job. She was alone until someone showed up. The other server called out. She never said a bad thing about the person who called out, just kept working. This is the 2nd time we went and would go back.

The fish and chips where perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fish was thick and hardy and all the chips where crisp. A very filling and satisfying meal. Had to go up to the counter twice for sweet tea refills. The server was busy eating behind the counter.

Prices are average but the food for both my mom and I was pretty rough. French Toast and Belgian Waffle both tasted gross and sour and the bacon had a plastic-y taste and smell to it. Home fries we're good and service was fine.

I love a good diner, this wasn't it. Food was borderline inedible. Not sure what they did to the sxrambled eggs, but they were rough. Sausage was okay. The place looks like it's seen better days. Fifties Diner is a fitting name because it's probably the last time someone actually enjoyed their meal there.
