$17 for two pastries and hot coffee is wild; it would be one thing for the pastries and coffee to then be good, but 1. the almond croissant was not cooked all the way through 2. the muffin was dry and comparable to a grocery store muffin 3. and the coffee downright worse than a gas station Even if you’re close, I wouldn’t recommend.

I had been a longtime customer, and I was disappointed that my fruit tart contained canned fruit and had a soggy crust. There is no excuse for topping a fruit tart with canned fruit during the summer, or any time of the year for that matter. At your price point, I was expecting fresh fruit and a crisp pastry shell. Although it’s one of my favorite desserts that my son brought home for me, unfortunately I had to toss it. He tasted it and agreed that the ones at Whole Foods are so much better. La Salle Bakery absolutely saved the day for us. My best friend’s pregnant wife was craving apple and they came through in the best possible way with apple pies, apple fritters, apple danishes, apple everything you could imagine. I ordered two things and they forgot one of them. How do you forget 50 percent of an order? Their breakfast sandwiches are over 10 dollars. 7 dollar pastries. It'd be one thing if service or food quality was great, but they're not.
