Simply an excellent bistec jibarito with a side of arroz con gondules in this quaint no-frills shop. The crispy plantain on the sandwich was perfect thickness to hold together the ingredients, yet still very crunchy. All the flavors was there. These are made to order so was still very hot. Same goes for the tostones that was nicely salted, hot and crispy, and plentiful. Lastly, had their jamon y queso empanada. Filling was hot and creamy, a bit salty but really enjoyed it. This little hole in the wall has some amazing authentic cuban cuisine! After leaving Miami, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to enjoy cuban coffee! This place has AMAZING cuban coffee and phenomenal food at decent prices. We got 2 sandwiches, 3 coffees, 5 croquetas, and 3 empanadas and it was just under $50. Highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful dining experience. Food was excellent and the wait staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is lively. Food came out quickly and since we came in the evening we didn’t have to wait for a table. Lots of people just ordering take-out. This is a great spot to fill your craving for authentic Cuban food. They offer affordable options for sandwiches or dinner options and sides. Conveniently located near public transportation or street parking available on Pulaski Rd.
